Meta Tags & Search Engine Submission
HTML is the most basic language in which websites are programmed. "Meta Tags" should be in the HTML code of your website. They serve two, primary purposes: 1) They are intended to tell the search engines how to most accurately list your site in their indices. 2.) They should describe the purpose and content of your website to those searching. The most critical metadata are the "Title", "Keywords" and "Description" tags. Respectively, these tags inform the prospective viewer of your website who you are, what you do, and how you do it. Therefore, a keyword analysis is highly recommended.

"Companies often make mistakes with their keywords because they pick keywords based on how they — rather than their customers — think about their products or services. You have to do a keyword analysis — a check of what keywords people use to search on the Web — or you're just spinning your wheels trying to gain traction in a competitive marketplace."
